Delivery, returns & Collections

We aim to use the most cost efficient yet reliable delivery options open to us and you will see this reflected in our delivery charges. Deliveries will need to be signed for and will be trackable. All items should reach you within 7-21 days of placing the order if the item is listed as in stock. We endeavour to ensure the order reaches you quickly and in perfect condition and that you will be happy with it. If this is not the case please refer to our returns policy on how to return your product.

We only deliver to mainland UK. To request a quote, please email us with the items you would like to order and your address. A member of our team will be in touch within 2 working days with a bespoke delivery quote for your order.

How much is your delivery charge?

The delivery charges listed under each product on our website applies to deliveries in Mainland UK apart from Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man, Isle of Sicily, Isle of Wight, Scottish highlands and places in Scotland that are further north than Edinburgh.

Fragile, heavy and large non-furniture items and mirrors require delivery by a specialist carrier and may need additional insurance. The extra charges  are to ensure that the product reaches you in perfect condition.  We will phone you if we need to apply the extra delivery charges to your order.

Mirrors are charged at £49 for mainland UK delivery except Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man, Isle of Sicily, Isle of Wight, Ireland, Scottish highlands and places in Scotland that are further north than Edinburgh. As the mirrors are directly delivered to you from our UK manufacturer instead of our business address, the delivery charge of mirrors can not be consolidated with the delivery charge of any other products that you may wish to order. For example, if you order a mirror and a large piece of furniture at the same time, you will need to  pay the £49 delivery charge for mirrors and also the £49 delivery charge for the furniture.

Delivery charge of furniture pieces to postcodes which fall within approx 15 mile radius of our business address:  One-man van delivery within a 15 mile radius from our shop in Bournemouth is charged between £10-£30. If your furniture is very heavy and requires a two-man delivery, an extra charge of £10 will be applied. The is a personal white glove delivery service, including the unpacking and placing of the item in situ within your home, assembling the furniture where necessary and taking away the packaging for you. You will also be given advice if required on how to care for your new furniture.

Delivery charge of furniture pieces to most of the other places in Mainland UK outside 15 mile radius from our shop (except Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man, Isle of Sicily, Isle of Wight, Ireland, Scottish highlands and places in Scotland that are further north than Edinburgh) small furniture piece up to 12 kg will be charged at 17.50 pounds by insured courier delivery; large furniture piece will be charged at £49 .

How will my goods be delivered?

Smaller items as soft furnishings and accessories are delivered either by our special courier, depending on the size and weight of your order. We’ll get on and dispatch it just as soon as possible and ordinarily you will have your goods within 14 days. We won’t ring you unless there’s a technical glitch.

For all furniture, we’ll contact you before we dispatch your items from our warehouse. Please make sure you leave your daytime telephone number with us. Please inspect the furniture carefully on delivery, as you will be required to sign to say you are happy with the condition your furniture has arrived in. If we have to return to collect the furniture because you decide it is unsuitable,  you will be charged the standard delivery charge as applied to your postcode.

What is your policy on Click & Collect?

Our Order & Collect / Click & Collect option is a free service. This enables you to collect goods from our shop at 5 Westbourne arcade, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH4 9AY

We will endeavor to have your purchase ready for collection within 2 working days after your order has been received.

A member of our team will notify you by email when your order is ready to be collected. Please remember to bring a valid photo ID (passport or full UK driving license) and a printout of your receipt or your order confirmation. For your protection against fraud, we will be unable to release your purchase without the appropriate ID.

To take advantage of our click and collect service, payment must be made in advance online or over the telephone as payment cannot be accepted at collection point.

Please note that we will only be able to hold your order for fourteen days. After this time, your order will be cancelled and your payment automatically refunded.

Before leaving to collect your order, please consider the size of the item you wish to collect and whether your vehicle has sufficient space.

How long will it take for my goods to arrive?

It’s our aim to get your goods to you as soon as possible. Please refer to delivery lead times below for your purchases:

•    Small/standard items – aim to deliver within 3-5 working days
•    In stock furniture items – aim to deliver within 2 – 3 weeks
•    Out of stock items  4 – 14 weeks (We will be able to advise you by email of the ETA of any item you are interested in ordering before you place your order).
•    Mixed Items – in stock – All items delivered together within 1-4 weeks

 If you need an item for a specific deadline, please let us know and we will do our best to meet your schedule.

We aim to sell all items from stock, however for your convenience the availability of every item is detailed alongside the product information. If an item you order is not immediately available, we will contact you upon receipt of your order with details of an estimated delivery date.

Will I need to sign on delivery?

Deliveries normally happen Monday to Friday during working hours and we do need a signature. If you know you won’t be in, just give us a different delivery address – perhaps a neighbour who wouldn’t mind taking delivery and signing for you.

For small items our standard courier service will attempt delivery twice and will leave a calling card if no one is home to sign for the delivery. You can contact them directly using the details on the calling card or contact our Customer Services team on 01202-760566. Should you not respond to the calling card within 5 days, the goods will be returned to us and a re-delivery charge may be applied.

Do you offer international shipping?

If you require international shipping,  please contact us for a quote. You are more than welcome to arrange a courier to collect the goods from our shop on your behalf after an order has been placed. Pleas email us [email protected] for more information.

Do you offer Express Delivery?

Express delivery can be arranged when ordering over the phone with our mail-order team. Express delivery is only available to mainland UK customers.  Express delivery is not available on furniture or extra large items. Your order will be dispatched the same day and in most cases will be delivered the next morning – so please ensure there will be somebody in to receive the order. Express delivery can be arranged up until 1pm (to ensure the order has time to be packed and shipped), and express orders placed on Friday will be delivered the following Monday. What is your online purchase returns policy?

We want you to be delighted every time you shop with us so we’ve made our returns policy simple. For all UK orders on our website ( apart from mirrors which are made to order in the UK), we are happy to offer you a 14 day money-back guarantee on all unused goods with their original packaging within 14 days of the date of dispatch. If the return is required as a result of our error, there is no collection charge. In other circumstances, you will be required to cover the cost of the return carriage and the original delivery charge (even when original delivery may have been free of charge). In the case of bulky or heavy furniture items, this cost may be higher than the original delivery charge.

Please take care to fully inspect your items to ensure you are happy with them before disposing of packaging as failure to do so may result in us being unable to refund you. Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery if your order is damaged or there are any discrepancies. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact us for a returns form and complete the returns form. Please enclose your completed returns forms with the item and post back to:

Please note that it is your responsibility to take care of the products and ensure they are returned to us in its original packaging safely & in a saleable condition. Please ensure all items are packaged securely and sufficiently to withstand delivery. Failure to do so may result in Scape Interiors being unable to refund you. We recommend that you use insured registered delivery and keep the receipt. We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit. If you return your item after 14 days of dispatching the goods, only credit notes can be offered. This does not affect your statutory rights.

In the case of bulky or heavy furniture items, this cost may be higher than the original delivery charge.

What is your in-store purchase returns policy?

If for any reason you are unhappy with your in-store purchase , return it to the store in its original condition within 7 days with your receipt for a refund, an exchange or credit note. There is one exception, we don’t accept returns for items that are specially ordered or made for you. This, however, doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

Please take care to fully inspect your items to ensure you are happy with them before disposing of packaging as unsuitable purchases will need to be returned in their original packaging.
