The black handles contrast the rich colours and natural grains of the wood which gives this piece a timeless appeal. As it comes from a tropical climate to the UK’s temperate climate, the wood will naturally move; it will expand in summer and retract in winter. To allow this natural movement to take place and prevent the drawers from sticking, the base of the drawers and the back of this piece of furniture are manufactured from high grade marine plywood. Finally, this piece comes fully assembled in a hand-waxed finish. To maintain, polish it with beeswax once every six months.
