Product Description
Circa 1759 , this fantastic piece of British engineering known as the Blunderbuss allowed for an extremely powerful explosive force of gunpowder to fire multiple shot at an extremely high velocity creating maximum effective carnage at close range. Rather like a modern sawn-off shot gun it was the preferred weapon of choice for the criminal element of the day. Used by pirates, highwaymen, street rogues and ruffians to distil fear and dread among their victims. Fashioned from solid English oak and iron cast it was very strong and robust with a high firing rate of reliability.
This is a replica pistol, it contains working parts but doesn’t fire.
