So 5 days to go before Christmas…… all my presents are wrapped and under the tree, the house smells like cinnamon and mulled wine, there are quality street wrappers everywhere… and I am eagerly awaiting a lovely little rest!! I don’t have the joy this year of doing the Christmas feast (hehehehe!!) and am instead decamping to my sisters for Christmas lunch this year. This does however mean I am missing out on the fun of laying the table for Christmas, which, I, LOVE!!
I have however been flicking through and finding ideas for all you lovely people out there that do have the Christmas table task, so here are my offerings!!
Yay CHRISTMAS!!!!
I love anything Scandinavian in general, but when it comes to Christmas I think they do it the best for sure!!
This idea of having fairy lights down the center as a runner is super cute, and you can use any kind of lights! These big round ones look great!
A rustic Christmas, I love the use of tree rings for place mats, these are actually pretty easy to get hold of and cheap!
Something for the kids big and small, let’s just hope that the full sized version has more than cutlery in though!
Another more simple version of the rustic table! The silver and gold has been swapped out for more natural complimenting pieces, and the runner of candles is just fab!
Now an idea for your chairs!! This is so simple but so lovely!!
This modern, white Christmas runner is simply stunning! I love the use of mercury tea-light holders with the white in the flowers, off set with the bit of green and the rustic/retro reindeer.
Now this is an idea so simple the most busy of Christmas cooks will have time to have a go!
I LOVE using hurricane lanterns in displays! And the ones on this table just make the whole look! For an alternative look, why not put battery operated fairy lights in your lanterns??
And finally another simple yet stunning one, easy peasy!!
Have a wonderful Christmas! Love SCAPE XXX
