This exact replica of Smith & Wesson’s elegant six shot revolver, favoured by Mr Doc Holiday due to its quick loading mechanism. This was pioneering technology in its day,as it meant one could essentially carry pre-loaded magazines for the first time, enabling rapid re-load in a gun fight. Also due to the reduced angle of the handle it was easier to draw while seated, perhaps why it was the favoured weapon of Mr Holiday due to his prolific gambling addiction, rumour suggests most of his many deadly altercations came while he was playing poker.
