This amazing replica of the Pistola De Chipsa Italia S.XVII circa 1729 recreates a classical Italian design that was popular with venetian ship captains and merchants. The pistol has been meticulously handcrafted from wood and metal, the barrel also features ornate engraved decoration that gave the pistol a unique baroque styled look.
Flintlock pistols were one of the most commonly used firearms in the eighteen century, had a flint or flint stone, which when it was triggered by the hammer produced a spark that ignited the gunpower.
